Well folks, the bad news is in. Here are my stats for my workout streak into the homestretch:
Total Weight : 218
Total Pullups in a row: 7
Waist Size: 38"
As you can see from my previous months, this is the largest and most sizable month I have had yet. I attribute this a lot to the current stress levels in my life and the lack of oversight to the diet.
In order to fix this weight gain before final weigh-in in 30 days I am enrolling myself in LoseIt. This app is working parallel with my 7-min app that counts my workouts. It enables me to meal plan and basically count my calories. I inputed my goal of sub 200 before the end of the summer and will follow it to the T.
The biggest challenge for me will be to manage my food intake. The current goal I have (sub 200 in 2 months time) allows me only 1850 calories per day. My average intake for a day is just more than 3K calories. When it comes down to it, I just have to do better. With all this time on my hands, I make more time to hang lose and have fun, when I need to be more stringent on what I eat and how I spend my time. My first day of work for the next job is in two weeks, so I am using that as an opportunity to get more focused, drink less, and spend time playing with our new puppy. All these activities ( along with the the calorie count initiative) should yield some good results.
Overall, even if I hit same weight as last year (209) by the end of this, I will be happy. A lot has happened this year, and even though I had rigorous goals for 2016-2017 and I just break even, I will be happy with that.
Wish me luck!
